Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of Little Eye, a clipboard-inspector application. They cover the macOS version of the app, which is sold through Paddle; a purchase on another platform may also be subject to that platform’s own terms. By installing, purchasing, or using the app you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Who we are

Little Eye is provided by Thriving Things (“we”, “us”, “our”), a business established in the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 58731695, with registered address Houtrustlaan 20, 2566 ZT, Den Haag. You can reach us at support@little-eye.com.

2. Payments and the seller of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle is the seller of the licence to you, handles the payment, collects and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax, and provides the receipt and customer-service for billing questions. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions and Paddle’s Privacy Notice. Where those buyer terms conflict with these terms in relation to the payment transaction, Paddle’s terms govern that transaction.

3. Licence

The macOS version of Little Eye is sold as a one-time purchase that unlocks a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the version of the app you purchased, on Macs you own or control, for as long as you comply with these terms. The licence is delivered as an offline licence key. We may release new versions; a purchase entitles you to the version purchased and to updates we make available for it, but a future major version may be offered as a separate purchase.

4. Free trial

Little Eye offers a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate the app before buying. Network-touching features may be limited once the trial ends until a licence is activated. The trial is provided “as is” and carries no obligation to purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) copy, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or your licence key except as permitted by law; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation; (c) remove or alter any proprietary notices; or (d) use the app to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights. The licence key is personal to you — sharing it may result in deactivation.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its name, and its content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a licence to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership to you.

7. Privacy

Little Eye decodes your clipboard locally on your device and does not transmit clipboard contents to us. Optional network detectors and the payment process are the only features that send data off your device. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture, including how Paddle processes your billing data.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its results (including those of network detectors) will be accurate or complete. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer under Dutch and EU law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Termination

These terms apply for as long as you use the app. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms (for example, by redistributing your licence key). On termination you must stop using the app. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue to apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app, the law, or our business. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will not apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you are resident. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands, again without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings in your country of residence where the law gives you that right.
