Refund Policy
We want you to buy Little Eye only once you know it works for you. That is why there is a free trial before any payment, and a money-back guarantee after it. Who handles your purchase — and therefore your refund — depends on where you bought it. Today the macOS app is sold through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. When the iOS app later becomes available to buy, it will be sold through Apple’s App Store, and refunds for it will follow Apple’s policy. The two sections below set out the policy for each. Whichever platform you are on, nothing here limits your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

Try before you buy
On both platforms, Little Eye includes a 14-day free trial. You can evaluate the app fully before spending anything, which is the best way to confirm it fits your workflow.
macOS app (purchased through Paddle)
Purchases of the macOS version are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, who is the seller of record and handles refunds on our behalf. The following terms apply to the macOS app only.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you purchase a macOS licence and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason. This sits alongside — and never reduces — your statutory right of withdrawal as an EU/EEA consumer.
Your statutory right of withdrawal (EU/EEA)
As a consumer in the EU/EEA you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. For downloadable digital content, this right can lapse once delivery has begun with your prior consent and acknowledgement — a step Paddle’s checkout records. Regardless of that, our voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee above means you can still request a refund within 14 days.
How to request a macOS refund
Because Paddle is the seller of record, refunds are issued by Paddle. You can:
- Use the link on the receipt email Paddle sent you at the time of purchase, or contact Paddle buyer support directly; or
- Email us at support@little-eye.com with your Paddle order reference and we will arrange it with Paddle for you.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer, typically a few business days. A refunded licence is cancelled: continuing to use the paid features after a refund is not permitted, and the licence key may stop working in a future version of the app.
Exceptions
Refunds may be declined for requests made well outside the 14-day window, or where there is evidence of abuse (for example, repeated buy-and-refund cycles or licence-key sharing). Refunds are ultimately processed at Paddle’s discretion under Paddle’s Buyer Terms; nothing here limits your mandatory consumer rights.
iOS app (Apple App Store)
Paid features in the iOS version of Little Eye are not yet available to purchase. When they are, they will be offered as an in-app purchase sold and delivered through Apple’s App Store. For any such purchase Apple will be the seller of record, and refunds will be handled solely by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and applicable law. We will not be able to issue, approve, or decline refunds for App Store purchases, and the Paddle terms above will not apply to them.
Once iOS purchases are available, a refund will be requested through Apple’s own process — typically by visiting reportaproblem.apple.com and signing in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, or by following the “Report a Problem” link on the email receipt Apple sends. Apple decides these requests at its discretion under the terms above; your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. If you are ever unsure how to proceed, email us at support@little-eye.com and we will point you in the right direction, though the refund itself must be granted by Apple.
